One-Eyed Warrior.

I approached him because he looked so fascinating and I wanted to know his story if he would tell it to me.  He looked like some sort of witch doctor with his long white medical coat, skulls, masks and a drum. As I got closer to him I saw that he had only one eye and an intense scar across the left side of his face.

He introduced himself to me, said his name was David Star. He told me about his scar when I enquired. I did not feel like I was being intrusive as he gave me such luminously friendly energy and it appeared as though he was more than happy to talk to me. David said he is a survivor of death as years ago it was planned that he should be murdered. David was shot in the head but he survived. He became brain damaged and blind in one eye as a result of this merciless incident committed by a brain washed sadist. He used to be a boxer who went by the name of King David; he was unbeaten up until the point of his tragic accident.

In this moment I am mesmerized by his presence and the way he simply smiles form ear to ear. Our wild energy is feeding of each one another and we begin to dance. He says he was beginning to think he was a ghost since nobody ever comes up and speaks to him the way I did. I found that hard to believe. He says most humans are like zombies and that they have eyes but cannot see. He told me I am an unconventional human being because I am all seeing. I didn’t like to bear the thought that nobody was as fascinated by this man as I was. I was so drawn to him that I simply had to speak to him; even if he did turn me away, at least I tried.  Lucky for me he did not.

David asked me about my bracelets and I told him the story behind each one of my many. One of them has an evil eye on it, which I told him was to fight of evil. His energy levels suddenly increased and he instantly turned around and pointed to the back of his head. Shaved into his head David had the words fear no evil. This man is a truly beautiful human being for actually bothering to stay alive after another human being violated him with a weapon made by other human beings.  Anybody can opt out of life at any moment they choose but he did not. I admire this survivor of deaths strength and I know we will meet again.
